My life as an adventurer...
Like the typical Australian backpacker, we travel.. for long stretches of time, taking in everything we can from the other side of the world - which is every other side of the world. But wherever I am, the ocean stills me and reminds me of home and settling me with the idea that my familiar peeps might be close to that same water. Its an incredible privilege to travel and be welcomed by strangers into their home...
I also spend time travelling around Australia - More recently taking heading up to the Gold Coast and taking a roadtrip (one of my favourite pastimes) down from Sydney to Tasmania (highly recommended). From from the Sea Cliff Bridge at Coalcliff to the most underwhelming 'Big' attraction in Australia, the 'Big Potato'. From the pleasant and quaint town of Tilba to Eden and Paradise Beach at the Lake Entrance. Canberra's executive capital, Forster Wind Farm, Tidal River at Wilsons Promontory National Park, pelican feeding at San Remo and penguin islands at Philips Island. Melbourne's eclectic and exhausting street art, laneways and sites To the fresh food capital of Australia: Launceston, Tasmania and funky town: Hobart.
In 2014 - I spent time backpacking from UK & Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Turkey and Greece. For more photos see:
In 2012, I travelled to the US, spending time with family, from LA to Austin, Texas, to the East Coast - NY, Washington DC, Montreal Canada, Chicago... I've been (not yet) everywhere man...
